Hey everyone!!!So Im already two and a half weeks into my trip but I wanted to start a blog because things are getting hectic down here and I dont have enough time to send out e mails! The culture here is amazing, so many different people all in one tiny little country(300,000) people. That's it! Ill use my bus rides to and from the site every day as an example; my bus driver blasts reggae, country, hip hop and Spanish music all back to back...so confusing! Its so relaxed here though. Well except for when I'm in the field swatting away mosguitos and digging in the dirt from 8:30 to 3. My day in the field consists of waking up at 5:30 AM, breakfast at 6, leave at 7, hour and a half bus ride to Aguacate our site, dig, dig, dig, and more digging, an occasional pot or lithic shard, leave at 3 then hang out the rest of the day. Whooo! I'm not going to lie I'm exhausted at the end of the day. So sorry if I mispell things but I'm getting delirious! I have a sunburn, heat rash, and at least 30 mosquito bites on each buttcheek. But I LOVE IT!!! Ill put up some pics tomorrow but for now... i need sleep!
